DUI investigation is complex. There are certain things which pose problems in court when dealing with a DUI arrest. With a few tweaks to the initial investigation many of these “problems” can be solved. The training will contain current case law that will provide officers with some new tools to do a much more complete DUI investigation.

Midwest Regional CPS Conference - Hutchinson
May 11-12, 2011

This conference will be available to CPSTs, nurses, EMS, law enforcement, or anyone with an interest in occupant protection to increase interest and competencies in the CPS area. The event will take place at the Kansas Law Enforcement Training Center (KLETC) located at 11009 South Hornet in Hutchinson. More details to come.




Motorcycle Training


Certified Training Officers of the Kansas City, Kansas and Leawood, Kansas police departments will be conducting an eighty-hour Police Motorcycle Operator training course.

The Kansas City region has long been known as one that produces skilled police motorcycle operators. Instructors from the Kansas City area train together and coordinate training using standards set forth by Northwestern University and IPTM.
